I completed a joint degree program at the University of Calgary and obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Bachelor of Commerce in 2002. During my time in school, I completed two co-operative work terms with a large regional accounting firm. I have over 10+ years of accounting experience in both industry and public practice.

My public practice experience includes employment with a large regional firm and a big four multinational firm. As a senior accountant in assurance and tax services, I have become very knowledgeable with assurance engagements, tax planning and preparation, financial statement preparation and general accounting principles. In addition, I have worked in industry for several years, which has provided me the opportunity to be apart of management, exposure to a variety of clients and their businesses, and insight to the challenges experienced by businesses on a daily basis. From the knowledge and experience I have gained, I decided to start my own firm in 2009, operating independently as a sole practitioner.

I aim to provide excellent services to my clients. This includes providing quality services on time, within budgets, and to fully understand the needs of my clients and their businesses. I believe a strong accountant-client relationship is essential and benficial to both parties involved.

As a sole practitioner, I offer personalized services to my clients. My firm’s small structure, combined with low overhead costs provides the opportunity for me to offer my experience and knowledge as a chartered accountant at rates that are reasonable and competitive.
